Based on the Golos report (in Russian) REM summarized the key trends observed during the third voting day.
During the third day of voting, the Golos Movement received 104 reports to the Map of Violations and through other channels. The top five regions with the most reports of potential violations on 8 September are:
1. Moscow - 35
2. St. Petersburg - 17
3. Krasnodar Region - 14
4. Moscow Region - 10
5. Leningrad Region - 4
Main trends of the third voting day
In Tatarstan, there were reports of voters being forced to vote using Geo-SMS digital technology.
In Nenets Autonomous District, transportation of voters to polling stations was organized.
In Moscow, there were numerous reports of conflicts at polling stations related to refusals to issue paper ballots.
In Kazan (Tatarstan), there were reports of interference with the work of commission members. Several people claiming to be "volunteers" from the Wagner Group, threatened and forced commission member Taras Kharchenko to leave the polling station.
In various regions, observers faced obstruction from polling station chairpersons, commission members, and outsiders. At a Moscow polling station, four unknown men, some with swastika tattoos, harassed a female observer.
There were reports of manipulation during mobile voting in Moscow and evidence of ballot box stuffing in Krasnodar region and St. Petersburg.
Along with the use of traditional quizzes with prize drawings to motivate turnout in Murmansk and Irkutsk regions, cases of voter bribery were also recorded in Kurgan.
Illegal campaigning was detected in Moscow and Khabarovsk in favor of the United Russia candidate. Similar reports came from Ufa for the Communist Party (CPRF) candidate.
In Saint Petersburg, election observer Marina Popova was detained after casting a ballot marked "No to War". She was taken to a police station, charged with petty hooliganism and discrediting the army, and kept in custody overnight.
